What did the world look like as it was transforming into the horrifying apocalypse depicted in The Walking Dead? This summer, AMC will answer that question with Fear The Walking Dead, an all-new original series set in Los Angeles, following new characters as they face the beginning of the end of the world. What are your thoughts on how he plans on killing off characters on the series? Do you think that ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ could have enough to keep running for five to six seasons? Share your thoughts below! So while ‘The Walking Dead’ may keep turning out walkers indefinitely, there is a chance we could see ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ come to a close at some point. Pe masura ce se apropie premiera celui de-al doilea sezon din Fear the Walking Dead, AMC Global a lansat un interviu in exclusivitate cu producatorul executiv si realizatorul dramei, Dave. That being said, Erickson does have a bit of an end plan for the series. I’m sure he is hoping that this spin-off will at least match the fan base that the current hit has. The more we dig into it, the more we’ll find…I’ve got some mile markers, which don’t take me that long as of yet, but I can’t really say because it’s an AMC question.” That is a good question and Erickson is taking the long view on this one: Of course with ‘The Walking Dead’ having just wrapped its fifth season one might wonder what “much later in the show” could actually mean. There are certain deaths that I have in my head that wouldn’t be coming until much later in the show, but until we get up and running and we see how everything is developing, it’s hard to say.” Dave Erickson is a writer and producer, known for (2015), (2008) and Canterbury's Law (2008). When you’re going to kill a major character, you need to have laid the track for it. Dave Erickson, Writer: Fear the Walking Dead. I worked on Sons of Anarchy, and sometimes you have to kill your darlings. No one is safe, but I also have some specific arcs in my head that will probably protect certain people. Anybody can be eaten at any time it can happen to anyone. “I don’t want to get too specific in terms of body count because I believe ultimately I would never set up and drop someone just for the purpose of setting up and dropping them. DAVE ERICKSON: One of the interesting things about the episode is that you do see a parenting shift, because Travis is trying to take this as a teaching opportunity. Here is exactly what Erickson had to say on the subject: The first teaser didn’t offer us too much in the way of introducing the new survivors but it does show us a world starting to go to Hell which we’ll see expanded upon in the first 6 episode run. That being said, the major deaths are partially mapped out and with a world that doesn’t yet realize the extent of the outbreak going on around them, certain arcs that will require characters some to be safe.

Much like the original series that has spawned this spin off prequel, no one will be safe. Though Chambliss and Goldberg aren't beholden to Erickson's plans, the co-creator revealed he envisioned Madison surviving through the series finale after emerging as a villain like the Governor (David Morrissey) or Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) on The Walking Dead. With the high body count of main characters in ‘ The Walking Dead‘, co-creator of ‘ Fear the Walking Dead‘ Dave Erickson has opened up on how the show will handle deaths. In the fallout of the nuclear warheads detonated last season by Teddy Maddox (John Glover), Madison might learn of Nick's death or suffer the loss of her daughter: the ailing Alicia is succumbing to the infection of a walker's bite. Instead of Madison versus Nick, it's Alicia versus Victor Madison's role in this civil war won't be revealed until sometime after Fear returns April 17. It's cunning conman Victor Strand who has emerged as a villain on Fear Season 7, lording over his own community, The Tower, and positioning himself as an enemy to the group of survivors led by Morgan Jones (Lennie James). Alicia spent the first half of the season leading a group of survivors to PADRE - a location supposedly safe from the radioactive fallout - and will spend the second half going to war with former friend Victor Strand (Colman Domingo).

Echoes of Erickson's abandoned plans are perceptible in the ongoing Fear Season 7, now set in ground zero of the nuclear-zombie apocalypse.
